Martial arts such as tae kwon do, kung fu, karate, and aikido are fun ways for both boys and girls to get fit and learn to focus. Many parents dismiss these activities, thinking they are too violent. Actually, they help teach self-discipline, confidence, and socialization skills. Martial arts are not only a great way to keep the kids active, but can be a family activity as well.
