5K for the Fight
2nd Annual 5K, 1.5-Mile Fun Walk & Kids' Fun Run
Sat., May 6, 2017 - 9 a.m.
K-State Manhattan Campus
Walk Kansas will hold its 2nd Annual Walk Kansas 5K for the Fight, 1.5-Mile Fun Walk and 50-yard Kids' Fun Run on the beautiful K-State Manhattan campus on May 6, 2017, and donate all proceeds to the Johnson Cancer Research Center. This is open to everyone, not just Walk Kansas program participants.
We are so excited for this perfect partnership! Exercise, nutrition and maintaining a healthy weight all reduce cancer risk, and Walk Kansas has helped thousands of people reach fitness goals over the years. Come run or walk to support your health AND K-State cancer research!
TIMING & PRIZES
Timing will be managed by Manhattan Cross Country Club/Lets Go Run, which uses the IPICO chip timing system. Medals will go to the fastest 3 males and females in each age category: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older.
